At The Au Pair Club, we value your trust and satisfaction. However, because our services are digital—including online courses, childcare profiles, job portal, and community access—refunds are limited and subject to specific conditions.

1. Refund Overview

Refunds are available for online courses within 14 days of purchase, provided specific criteria are met. Due to the nature of our childcare profiles, job portal, and community access, these services are non-refundable.

2. Refund Policy for Online Courses

If you are not satisfied with your course, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided the following conditions are met:

2.1 Eligibility for Refund

  • The course was purchased within the last 14 days.
  • You have completed no more than 25% of the course content.
  • You have not shared, copied, or distributed course materials.
  • Significant technical issues (e.g., access problems caused by server outages lasting more than 48 hours) prevented you from using the course effectively.

2.2 What Does Not Qualify for a Refund

Refunds will not be granted if:

  • You completed more than 25% of the course content.
  • You are requesting a refund for personal reasons, financial issues, or technical problems related to your own devices or internet connection.
  • You purchased the course more than 14 days ago.
  • The course was purchased using a discount code (partial refunds may apply).
  • Your expectations of the course were unreasonable, or the content delivered matches the course description.

We reserve the right to retain 30% of the enrolment fee to cover administrative costs for any approved refunds.

3. Refund Policy for Childcare Profiles, Job Portal, and Community

Refunds are not available for:

  • One-time registration fees for family profiles.
  • Monthly subscriptions for family profiles.
  • Access to the job portal or community, whether or not you use these services.

Our platform is designed to connect families and au pairs, but we cannot guarantee matches or placements. Success depends on your profile quality, engagement, and reasonable expectations.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund for eligible purchases, please email us at refunds@theaupairclub.com.

Your request must include:

  • Your full name and the email address used to make the purchase.
  • The date of purchase.
  • A clear explanation of why you are requesting the refund.

Refunds that meet the eligibility criteria will be processed within 14 business days. Refunds for eligible online courses will incur a 30% administrative fee, which will be deducted from the refunded amount.

5. Gift Purchases

If a service was purchased as a gift, we may offer a gift credit or certificate instead of a cash refund. Gift credits will be emailed to the recipient upon approval of the refund.
